This work was inspired by heart-aching over-the-top love songs from country & western music. Instead of Tammy Wynette or Hank Williams, this jukebox contains “love gone wrong” stories by artists and other notable persons. Instead of a song, the participant will hear a personal hurtin’ story of love when they place 50 cents in the jukebox. Like the familiar voices of Johnny Cash or Elvis, the participant may recognize some of the storytellers; however none of the storyteller’s names are listed in the jukebox’s playlist. Titles include: “Kindergarten Stud”, “Love on Parole,” “Mean For Jesus,” “Backseat Virgin, ” “Mixing 5 Minute Rice With 20 Minute Rice”…
